Vaillant Wall Hung Gas Boilers

In the course of our continuous quality programme, we have discovered that Vaillant COMBIcompact and THERMOcompact open flued gas boiler models: VCW GB 240, VCW GB 280, VC GB 110, VC GB 180 and VC GB 240, installed between 1991 and 1996, may become dangerous in certain circumstances. A component may go out of adjustment allowing combustion fumes to escape.

If you have one of these Vaillant boilers in your home, please call our freephone helpline 0870 6060777 (and then select option 1) and we will arrange for a service engineer to carry out a fast, simple and FREE modification. You will be asked for the boiler model and the first two digits of the serial number when you phone, so please have these to hand. They can be found on the boiler data badge as shown in the diagrams. (If your Vaillant boiler does not have a data badge in the position shown, your boiler will not need modification.)
