Alpha Boilers have issued a safety notice regarding their CD50 and CB50 storage boilers because of a manufacturing defect with the hanging brackets.
Any installers who fitted one of these boilers in the past 12 months are asked to contact Alpha, (telephone 01732 783046, email details@alphatherm.co.uk or Fax 01732 783071) giving boiler serial number, installation address and contact telephone number.
Arrangements will then be made for an engineer to make a site visit and, if necessary fit additional fixings to solve the problem.
